About Us
Our History
The idea of founding the Lebanese Association for Sustainability and Social Responsibility (LASSR) was initiated by Dr. Ramona Al-Danaf and Dr. Firas Zeidan during their doctoral studies in Hungary. Guided by their professors, Dr. Toth Gergely and Dr. Kerkes Sandor, they were introduced to the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and inspired by its significant impact on society. Their growing interest in sustainability and CSR led them to publish multiple articles related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and CSR, particularly in the education sector, and to actively participate in numerous international conferences within this field. LASSR was officially registered under No. 27, dated 12/01/2023, based in Mount Lebanon - Aley District - Bhamdoun Al-Mhatta.

Dr. Ramona Al-Danaf
President
A leadership education consultant at the Lebanese Ministry of Education, and a university professor in the Faculty of Business Administration and Economic Sciences. She has numerous academic research papers and articles published in international journals related to sustainability, social responsibility, and sustainable leadership. A capacity-building and development trainer.
Ms. Natalie Matar
Treasurer & Financial Officer
Holds a degree in Computer Science, with experience in financial management and accounting for associations and non-profit institutions. She manages LASSR's social media channels and strengthens cooperation with partner associations and institutions.
Mr. Baha Yehya
Vice President
Holds qualifications in management and accounting, and serves as director of "Alba for Water" company in Mount Lebanon. He has experience in executive management and public relations, and contributes to supporting LASSR's activities and developing its community partnerships.
Dr. Firas Zeidan
Secretary and Association Representative to Governmental Bodies
A university professor and financial expert, holding a PhD in Management and Organizational Sciences. He has extensive experience in management, governance, and institutional planning, with numerous specialized studies and scientific articles, and is known for his strong commitment to social work and community service.
Ms. Rawia Al-Bina
Activities Officer
An educator specializing in Arabic literature and social sciences for over twenty years. She holds a diploma in social sciences and a teaching qualification in Arabic language. She possesses experience in social work and the organization of community events and activities, and contributes to the management and implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at serving the community.
